"Inside the Marlins: Talking Baseball"

MIAMI (Aug. 8, 2014) - On Saturday, Aug. 9th at 10:30 p.m., FOX Sports Florida, the statewide television home of the Miami Marlins, will debut a new episode of "Inside the Marlins" upon conclusion of the Marlins vs. Cincinnati Reds game. Titled "Talking Baseball," this episode will focus on our Marlins announcers who have made the transition from the playing field to the broadcast booth.

Hosted by Allison Williams and produced by Frank Forte, "Inside the Marlins: Talking Baseball" will take a look back at the careers of Marlins' fans favorite broadcasters, and the changes and challenges associated with the switch from the diamond to the booth. Tommy Hutton has been a part of Marlins' broadcasts for nearly two decades, and he is celebrating his 50th season in professional baseball as either a player or an announcer. "Talking Baseball" features interviews with Hutton, his play-by-play partner Rich Waltz, a former player at the University of California-Davis, and former Marlins Jeff Conine, Preston Wilson and Carl Pavano, all of whom now serve as analysts on Marlins pre and postgame show programming. Fans will also hear from long-time Marlins TV host Craig Minervini.
