MIAMI -- The Reds have had a challenge in all four games of their series vs. the Marlins -- three initiated by manager Bryan Price and one crew-chief review. The fourth, on Sunday, ended up going against Cincinnati.

In the third inning with the Reds leading 3-0, Miami had the bases loaded with no outs when Jordany Valdespin grounded to first base. Todd Frazier fired a throw to the plate for the force play before catcher Devin Mesoraco threw back to first base in a double-play attempt.

Valdespin was ruled safe and Price challenged the call. Upon replay review, it was decided that the call stood.

For his troubles, Frazier also came away sore from the play because Valdespin stepped on his foot when he touched first base. Cincinnati and pitcher Mike Leake worked out of the jam without a run scoring.

For the series, the Reds were 2-2 on Price's managerial challenges.
