Throughout their 20-year career, they have won nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train awards, four Grammys, three Billboard awards, five NAACP awards, the 2011 MOBO award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, two World Music Awards and have a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
