Right-hander Anthony DeSclafani, the Marlins' sixth-rated prospect, threw seven scoreless innings Tuesday night in Triple-A New Orleans' 10-0 win over El Paso.

DeSclafani struck out five batters, walked one and allowed two hits. He needed 94 pitches to get through seven innings, matching the longest outing of his career.

Center fielder Jake Marisnick, the Marlins' No. 3 prospect and No. 55 overall, went 1-for-5 with a run and a stolen base in the victory.

DeSclafani began the season with Double-A Jacksonville before earning a promotion to the Major Leagues last month. He made two starts for the Marlins before getting sent to New Orleans. Tuesday marked his first career victory at Triple-A.

In 14 starts across three levels this season, DeSclafani is 5-6 with a 4.16 ERA. He has struck out 68 batters and walked 19 in 75 2/3 innings.
