MIAMI -- The Marlins continue to reshape their front office.

The club announced Monday afternoon that Mike Wickham has been relieved of his duties as director of baseball operations, with Dan Noffsinger promoted to the post.

The move comes a day after Michael Hill was introduced as the organization's president of baseball operations and Dan Jennings was named general manager.

Noffsinger, a Harvard graduate, has spent the past three years as the Marlins' assistant director of pro scouting, where he assisted Jennings. The 32-year-old has worked closely with Jennings in overseeing all phases of the professional scouting department. He's also kept tabs on all 30 teams' Minor League prospects.

Noffsinger will be entering his 11th season in the organization.

Wickham spent the past three seasons as Miami's director of baseball operations, where he assisted Hill and former president of baseball operations, Larry Beinfest, who was dismissed Friday.

Prior to joining the Marlins, Wickham spent three seasons with the Padres as director of Minor League operations.
