Marlins Spring Training Hot Stove Show premieres Saturday


MIAMI, FL -The Marlins Spring Training Hot Stove Show is set to premiere on Saturday, February 16 at 2 p.m. on FOX Sports Florida. The thirty-minute program highlights the Marlins organization as they enter their 11th Spring Training camp at Roger Dean Stadium.

Marlins television broadcasters Tommy Hutton and Rich Waltz host a roundtable discussion with Marlins General Manager Michael Hill and Marlins Special Assistant to the President Jeff Conine to discuss the team's off-season moves. FOX Sports Florida Marlins analysts Cliff Floyd and Preston Wilson also join Rich, Tommy and Frank Forte as they welcome new team Manager Mike Redmond. The group also debates the competitive state of the National League East division.

The show will feature Logan Morrison's "Lomo's Camp for a Cure," as well as coverage of the Marlins Ayudan community "Basebowl" event. In the last segment, Marlins pitcher Steve Cishek joins the crew to share his off-season routines and his preparation for the upcoming 2013 season.
