MIAMI -- Before Opening Day, Marlins fans will have four opportunities to check out the team on television during Spring Training.
FOX Sports Florida, the statewide TV home of the Marlins, on Thursday announced that it will televise four of Miami's Grapefruit League home games. The first will be on March 8, when the Marlins face the Yankees at 1 p.m. ET at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.
FOX Sports Florida also will televise the March 13 game against the Braves, which starts at 7 p.m.
The telecasts will pick up toward the end of Spring Training, at a time the Opening Day roster is close to being set.
Miami's contest with Detroit on March 25 will air at 1 p.m. The final telecast will be on March 26, when the Nationals are in Jupiter to face the Marlins in a 1:05 p.m. ET contest.
Spring Training opens for the Marlins on Tuesday, as pitchers and catchers begin workouts. Full-squad workouts get under way on Feb. 15.
Opening Day for Miami will be on April 1 at Washington, with a 1:05 p.m. ET start at Nationals Park. The Marlins' home opener is set for 7:10 p.m. ET on April 8 against the Braves.
