MIAMI -- Marlins baseball will air on FM radio on Saturday.
Due to a programming conflict, the Marlins' game against the D-backs on Saturday at 7:10 p.m. ET will be broadcasted on MAJIC 102.7 instead of flagship station WAXY 790 The Ticket.
The switch is being made because of the Miami Heat-New York Knicks NBA playoff game. The Marlins and Heat share 790 The Ticket as their radio home.
During the NBA regular season, the Marlins have priority if both teams are playing on the same day. But in the postseason, the Heat get priority.
Whenever the Heat and Marlins play on the same days in the upcoming weeks, the baseball game will air on 102.7 FM in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale metro area.
Dave Van Horne and Glenn Geffner will call the action for the Marlins game, and the broadcast features 30-minute pre- and post-game shows throughout the regular season.
Marlins games also air throughout the state of Florida on the Marlins Radio Network.
