PERSONAL: Eugene Patrick Glynn...wife Julie, sons Gino and Christopher...graduated from Waseca (MN) High School in 1975 where he was an All-American in both basketball and baseball and was named the first ever "Mr. Basketball" in the state of Minnesota...attended Minnesota State University-Mankato from 1975-79 where he played baseball and basketball...participates annually in Twins Winter Caravan.

COACHING CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: 2018 marks 26th season as professional coach... named Twins third base coach November 12, 2014...made major league coaching debut as Rockies first base coach in 1994...won division title as manager for Single-A South Bend in 1992...named Northwest League Manager of the Year in 1990 with Single-A Spokane after team went 49-27 and won a league championship...made coaching debut in Montreal system as a player/coach for Triple-A Indianapolis.

PLAYING CAREER: Played seven seasons in the minor leagues from 1979-85 in Montreal's system, hitting .230 (308-for-1340) with 48 doubles, 11 triples, seven home runs, 137 RBI and 244 runs scored in 525 games...played third base, second base and shortstop.

PROFESSIONAL: Signed by Montreal as an undrafted free agent in 1979.
